Have worked in Lang Lang for a few weeks and have came in here most days for lunch and without fail have the staff made me feel uncomfortable while ordering. The blonde women who looks like she runs the place has a horrible attitude while serving. Not asking for much just some decent customer service.
Great coffee and happy staff, a good spot to sit down for a bite to eat.
Amazing pies and sausage rolls and the Vanilla slices are top notch!
Pies are bloody awful. Mostly gravy and hardly any meat. I came here to test the pies for the best pie in Victoria contest. This bakery won't even be entered into the competition.
UPDATE. Also to the owner I review for The Age newspaper. Your bakery will no longer appear in The Age food review guide .Bloody awful pies. We bought 2 steak pies. After 3 bites we just couldn't eat it. Mostly gravy, hardly any meat. The meat if it was meat. Tasted like they had bought the cheapest mince and the gravy was tasteless. Ended up buying pies from The Tooradin bakery, their pies were %100 better.Won't be going back to Lang Lang bakery ever again.Obviously the people who gave this bakery 4 to 5 stars are locals who have never tried pies from other bakeries.Owner needs to taste the pies from Tooradin and he will know what a pie should taste like. Rude owner as well.
